“To positively impact the lives of employees and local communities directly affected by our business.”
The freedom of the human world lies in the human heart, in the power of affection, in humility and in giving.
In CEAT, this is a tradition which is carried on with pride; bringing cheer into the lives of all those who touch us.
We have all learnt community living as a subject in textbooks, but its true essence can only be grasped in the school called life. So we have made this a learning process at CEAT. Each of us are devoted to enriching the quality of lives of our community and caring for the environment.
We do this through a series of result-oriented initiatives like:
- Providing opportunities for better education, health improvement and employment
- Socio-ecological projects to promote a healthy and safe environment
- Healthcare programmes and camps

| Free Eye Check-up Camp | Kirat Seth Village |
We have also adopted the Kirat Seth village close to our plant in Nashik, where we have carried out various development programmes. We have also invested in providing basic necessities like fresh drinking water, proper sanitation, and medical facilities.
Constant efforts are also toward enhancing income standards by imparting vocational guidance. Women of the village have been trained to make phenol and liquid soap, which is procured by the company’s plant. Our healthcare schemes for the village include regular free eye check-up camps and aids awareness drives.
Our driving force, our employees
Working in an organization is no less than being a part of a big family. And the sense of belonging is its most important element.
To infuse a feeling of oneness in all those who are a part of CEAT, we have created an environment of familiarity at our Nashik plant. We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, where people from all departments get together to join in the bonhomie.
We not only have fun on special occasions, even the brainstorming sessions here are enjoyed. Orientation programmes like Gharkul are conducted to educate and inform through topics like family budgeting, parenting, handling interpersonal relationships, maintaining safety at home, and others. An officers’ club with a library with DVD-hiring and internet service, is just a small way of conveying that we care.
